With cricket back up and running this summer, the Institute of Cricket is here to help fast track your learning and skill development during the season, giving you that extra edge towards achieving your desired goals in 2021. 

All our summer camps accompany the normal Institute of Cricket Winter Programmes, with this camp being specifically designed to make up for the valuable lost training hours due to COVID-19. Our performance camps will accelerate your learning and ensure you are ahead of your peers for a successful 2021 season.

2021 CAMP VENUES & DATES:

VENUE: Repton School, Willington Rd, Repton, Derby DE65 6FH 

Dates: 

Camp 1: Monday 26th – Tuesday 27th July 2021
Camp 2: Monday 23rd – Tuesday 24th August 2021

Times: 
9.00am – 4.00pm

Costs: 
£75pp/day or £125 for the full 2 days

VENUE: Thame Town Cricket Club, Church Meadow, Church Road, Thame, Oxford, OX9 3AJ 

Dates: 

Camp 1 (3 days): Wednesday 28th, Thursday 29th & Friday 30th July 2021
Camp 2 (2 days): Thursday 26th – Friday 27th August 2021

Times:
9.00am – 4.00pm

Costs: 
3 day camp: £75pp/day or £185 for the full 3 days
2 day camp: £75pp/day or £125 for the full 2 days

VENUE: Kenilworth Wardens Cricket Club, Glasshouse Park, Glasshouse Lane, Kenilworth, CV8 2AL 

Dates: 

Camp 1 (3 days): Tuesday 3rd, Wednesday 4th & Thursday 5th August 2021
Camp 2 (2 days): Monday 31st August – Tuesday 1st September 2021 *pre-trial training camp

What’s involved?

Spending the week in the life of a professional player in training, we aim to push you ahead of your peers by giving you every opportunity to advance and develop your skill levels. By attending these camps, you will be able to adapt to each format and situation that a cricket season can throw at a player, developing strategies for coping with different game scenarios; a hugely valuable tool for every players game preparations. Our high performance camps cover in detail a range of cricket-specific skills, including but not limited to:

  • Power Hitting
  • T20 Bowling skills, including Yorkers and Slower Balls
  • Throwing Technique and Skills
  • Specific Wicket Keeping Practice
  • Specific/Match Scenarios across all formats
  • Running Mechanics
  • Core and Flexibility sessions
  • Nutrition Workshops
*Our venues have both indoor and outdoor facilities so whatever the weather, we will not lose out on any cricket development! 
*As normal, all Institute of Cricket Camps will strictly adhere to government and ECB guidelines regarding COVID-19
